Ear Well

Most abnormalities occur in the upper third of the ear and are caused by fetal ear development. It is often a failure of the tissue to properly migrate. Some other anomalies may be a result of positioning while in the uterus and others may be genetically driven (e.g. prominent ears).

Ear Well system needs to be applied within the first 14 days of birth. Earlier the better.

Correction with Ear Well System takes 4- 6 weeks. You might require 2-3 visits for minor adjustments to be done or for cleaning purposes

No. The procedure is not painful. But the baby might cry during the process because of anxiety & irritation.

No. There is no interference with sleep or feeding.

Mild skin irritation, sweat rashes & redness might be seen. Your clinician will clean and change the device if the system becomes too wet or soggy.
