As an accomplished craniofacial surgeon of international acclaim, Dr.Rao’s expertise encompasses remoulding positional deformity and minimally invasive craniosynostosis correction to open correction of complex craniosynostosis and craniotomies. In a career of 40+ years he has performed more that 20,000 complex craniofacial and facial deformity surgeries, establishing him as a leader in innovative approaches to the art of healing with
compassion and precision. He is known for being at the forefront of technological advances in his field and is one of the pioneers in Digital AI assisted planning and surgery.
Dr. Rao has trained and accredited specialist surgeons globally and played a crucial role in appointing surgical trainees at various centres. He has been instrumental in bringing many NGOs to India, and establishing Inga Health Foundation, backed by a wide range of patrons from across the world. As a distinguished academic, he is recognized as a Ph.D. guide for Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is an International Professor at the
University of Minnesota Medical School (USA).
